Wealth management companies Probus and Pleion have submitted a request to proceed with the merger. The Probus Group has an important operational presence in the Dubai International Financial Center, where 25 people are employed.

Now, through Pleion, they will have an additional opportunity to receive advice from another distinguished team. Our combined efforts will ensure that our clients are able at all times to make the best financial decisions possible. Both companies have four decades of experience in wealth management (Pleion incorporated in 1980, Probus incorporated in 1984). In addition to their offices in Switzerland, both Probus and Pleion have developed internationally with a number of offices established in Dubai, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Moscow and Bangkok. Clients of the new group will benefit from the launch of a proven, effective, global and large-scale portfolio of investment solutions. In support of this vision, the holding company of Probus Group will become the special umbrella for both groups and bring both entities together on a global level. The new entity has 4 major shareholders: the Georges de Preux family and Bernard Bonvin of Probus, and Antoine Darioli and Patrick Héritier of Pleion, and will be managed by a board comprising all of them and whose primary function will be to oversee the direction and development of the future group within Switzerland and abroad. Antoine Darioli and Bernard Bonvin currently reside in Dubai and work for Probus Middle East Limited, a subsidiary of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, highlighting the Group's strong commitment to the DIFC, the UAE and the entire Gulf region.
